Every day you try to focus on class, work, or just enjoy some time with friends and family while being deathly afraid of the multitude of sounds a human makes and it’s nearly impossible to deal with. So, you just minimize the contact, put on your headphones on and eat in my room. You had to walk out of the meeting because someone was chewing gum and you couldn’t take it anymore and it leaves you feeling horrible and in tears out of anger and embarrassment.


Managing your reaction to annoying sounds

You want your life back before escaping sounds ruled your world.  You just don’t know what else to do because these sounds are all over the place! It feels so painful to anticipate the sounds and enraging at the same time when you hear them because that’s all humans do. Outside of staying home and ignoring the world, you don’t know what else to do. Will I ever be able to have a roommate, work at an office, or sit through a conference without being triggered?

I help people that are easily agitated by noise through increasing awareness, manipulating the environment, self-compassion, skills training, and more.
