Comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for Adults

You often find yourself feeling lost, empty, and misunderstood by others. You try to fit in and be liked but it is all terrifying because you just don’t know when everything will fall apart, again. It feels like your life is a series of you getting "in trouble” and feeling rejected when you are truly doing your best.

You know that at times you can misinterpret and, as they say, “overreact.” But, if they only knew how hard it is to manage strong cycles of anxiety, depression, and anger. It is exhausting to manage such overwhelming and intense emotions that at times you give in to your urges and don’t think before you act.  This often leaves you feeling hopeless, rejected by others, and lonely.

You've tried therapy before. It helps in certain ways, but an hour a week is just a drop in the bucket. It felt like each week was just catching the therapist up on all that had transpired, and you didn't experience really feeling better. You need a more structured and intensive approach and something that will help long-term.

I am an expert in helping people understand and manage their emotions by changing their behaviors to get relief and stability in their lives using comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).  DBT came about to offer a more intensive treatment approach for clients who have big emotions and who were not finding relief through weekly sessions alone.

Our therapy together will be intensive and impactful. We will meet for individual sessions, group skills training, phone coaching, and I will participate in a consultation team to make sure I am supporting you the best that I can.
